Paula (a little about me)
I am a Melbourne based Civil Celebrant who has a zest for life, a love of people, flowers, travel and dogs. I have a diverse heritage being part Aussie, Kiwi and Italian and my friends and family call me PAV!
I love to have fun, dance and sing when I can and commit to my ritual of attending several pilates sessions a week! In my working life, I am a true professional with an excellent eye and am known for my observant attention to detail. I love being part of special and memorable events and have a flare for capturing the mood and ambience that is desired.
Having an innate capacity for organisation, I have devoted my life's career to being an extraordinary Executive Assistant and have worked for some of Melbourne’s most prominent and fascinating Executives. Over the years I have created, organised, and planned many different occasions and this foundation has enabled me to realise my aspiration to become a Wedding Officiant.
It would be my honour to collaborate with you to help ensure your wedding day is one that is reminisced fondly and never forgotten. Some people just have those extra special qualities that allow you to immediately feel comfortable and in safe hands and that person is Me.

SERVICES
Full Marriage Ceremony
​
My role as a Civil Marriage Celebrant is to listen to your thoughts on the creation and design of your ceremony. It is an opportunity and work together on how you would like to create and celebrate your special day.
​
After arranging an initial meeting, the next step is to follow up with a second meeting which is when we would attend to the lodgement of the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM). We would also check your ID at this stage. A first draft of your ceremony would be sent to you shortly thereafter.
​
Other services include the completion and lodgement of all required paperwork, finalising your ceremony on paper, a final meeting and rehearsal (if required) and preparing and presenting you both with a commemorative marriage certificate on the day.
​
If the full Marriage Ceremony is not for you, another possibility is a Micro Marriage Ceremony which is much shorter, although still very bespoke.
Pet Taxi Service
​
Some of us might decide they want to share their special day with their fur babies and why not?! Being a dog lover, I could not think of anything more fitting. Rather than have one of your guests leave the celebration to return your fur babies to their safe place, I would be honoured to do so.
SERVICES
Legals Only Ceremony
​
A 'Legals Only' wedding is designed for couples who want to be legally married, without the ceremony, production or expense of a traditional wedding. The ceremony is usually very brief and is conducted with two legal witnesses.
Preparation includes all legal marriage paperwork, from the pre-marriage NOIM form to the marriage certificates you will sign on the day, together with a very short legal ceremony with either the minimal required wording, or with a little more to make it special. It is entirely up to you. ​
Naming Ceremony
​
A naming ceremony is such a joyous occasion and it is a wonderful way to celebrate the birth of a new baby or to welcome an adopted child or stepchildren into your family. Many families choose to hold a naming ceremony to celebrate their child's arrival.​
​
We would look to plan an initial, obligation-free meeting to listen to your ideas and discuss how we can create a meaningful and unique ceremony together. If you choose to go ahead, a second meeting would need to be arranged to discuss the look and feel of your ceremony. Your ceremony will be emailed to you not long after our second meeting. Services on the day would include a professionally printed naming certificate together with a beautiful, bound copy of your naming ceremony script. ​​​​
Vow Renewal Ceremony
​
A vow renewal ceremony is a celebratory ceremony during which you would reaffirm your commitment to one another, either alone or in the presence of family members and friends. This beautiful ceremony dedicates quality time to reflect on a relationship with a clear, meaningful purpose for that reflection.​​​​​

We would look to plan an initial, obligation-free meeting to listen to your ideas and discuss how we can create a meaningful and unique ceremony together. If you choose to go ahead, a second meeting would need to be arranged to discuss the look and feel of your ceremony. Your ceremony will be emailed to you not long after our second meeting. Services on the day would include a ​​​​professionally printed commemorative certificate, if required together with a bound copy of your vow renewal ceremony script.
